Our company does Flash animation for commercial video production. Recently, we created our first ever pilot for an animated cartoon series for television. I have had the pleasure of knowing Rob Child personally and professionally for over 10 years. When we first met, he was my Technical Director for an MTV production in New York City. It was my pleasure to travel with Rob Child last year on a promotional tour to support the release of Gettysburg Three Days of Destiny. We made several presentations to audiences consisting of video wholesale sales people, video store mangers and to the senior executives of Movie Gallery, the nation's second largest video retailer. These audiences are accustomed to seeing presentations from producers, directors and stars so they are generally tough crowds and hard to impress. Rob's presentations were extremely well received because everyone is intrigued by the behind the scenes tricks and techniques that bring a story to life on film. Whether they were history buffs or not his antedotes about historical events and figures revealed the human side of the past and brought it to
life. There wasn't a single presentation on this tour where he didn't have a lively Q & A and several people spoke with him at length afterwards. Having worked with many show business people over the years, it was such a rewarding and enriching experience having Rob support our sales efforts with his wealth of knowledge and his winning personality.
