REVIEW:
Had this program been in print format, it might be described as "the definitive work on America's bloodiest battle" because of its depth of coverage. This exhaustive presentation utilizes a wide variety of techniques-vintage still photographs, live-action recreations of the combat in grand scale as well as actors portraying significant characters, plus a striking original musical score-to underscore the importance of the melee to the course of the war. The producers masterfully share the events and circumstances which led up to the clash as well as how the battle actually ensued, even to the unique manner in which it is still memorialized today. _ School Library Journal May 2006.
